The free hotel transfer

Add the free transfer when you book and the van collects you from your hotel and brings you back after the fights. It is a shared van, not a private car, and it runs only between hotels in Patong, Kata and Karon and the stadium. It collects guests in two rounds: you choose yours in the booking form and wait in the lobby 15 minutes before it, because the van cannot wait for one room. For tonight's show it cannot be added after 18:00, when the van has already set out.

Give the hotel name and your room number when you book: on a busy evening a driver at a large hotel needs a name and a room to ask for at reception. If you are in a villa or house with no room number, type the property name instead.

Walking from Bangla Road

From the Bangla Road end, Sai Nam Yen Road is a few minutes on foot, and the stadium is on it. At night the street is busy and well lit, and the stadium frontage is hard to miss once you are on the right road.

If you are walking, leave a little earlier than the map suggests: Patong pavements are interrupted, and nine in the evening is when everyone else is out too.

By taxi, tuk-tuk or app

Any driver in Patong knows the stadium, but the name of the road is what removes all doubt. Show them this line: สนามมวยป่าตอง ถนนสายน้ำเย็น — Patong Boxing Stadium, Sai Nam Yen Road.

Fares in Patong are agreed before you set off rather than metered, so settle the price first. Ride-hailing apps work in Phuket too; whatever you use, the return journey at the end of the card is the one worth thinking about in advance, and it is the reason the free transfer is worth booking.

Driving and parking

You do not need the van to get here: there is parking at the stadium, in front of the entrance on Sai Nam Yen Road, for cars and motorbikes. The doors open at 19:30, and coming early gets you an easy space — it fills up on a busy night and the streets around are narrow.

If you are on a scooter, park where the stadium staff direct you rather than on the road outside — Patong tows.

Getting back

A few hundred people leave at the same time, and that is exactly when taxis are most expensive and slowest. Booking the free transfer both ways removes the problem entirely for the three zones it covers (Patong, Kata, Karon).

Outside those zones, agree the return with your driver before the fights, or walk the few minutes back to Bangla Road and find transport from there.

Questions people ask

Where exactly is Patong Boxing Stadium?

2/59 Sai Nam Yen Road, Patong, Kathu District, Phuket 83150. It is a few minutes' walk from Bangla Road, in the centre of Patong.

Is the hotel transfer really free?

Yes, for guests staying in Patong, Kata or Karon who add it to their booking. It is a shared van between your hotel and the stadium only, and outside those areas the booking form will not offer it. Staying further out? We can arrange transport for an extra charge — message us on WhatsApp and our staff will give you the price.

How early should I arrive?

The doors open at 19:30 and the first fight is at 21:00. Come early if you can: you can watch the fighters get their oil massage and warm up, take photos, try the BB Gun (airsoft) play area, and have a drink or something to eat at the bar before the band starts.
